BETH + SIMON

After no less than three date changes thanks to Covid, and with a delay long enough that baby Olive came along in the the interim, a little rain shower during vows was never going to dampen the spirits of lovers Beth & Simon!

But let’s back up a little…

This fairytale begins with Fourside catering Beth’s brother’s wedding which was of course, amazing. Lucky for us, Beth loved our vibe and locked us in for her own big day (at our fave Barunah Plains), so we’re basically considering ourselves part of the family at this point!

Working with the wonderful Kahlie from Pop up with Style, Beth and Simon created a day of impeccable taste that was warmly welcoming and wildly fun.

With beautiful florals that looked like they had been harvested from Barunah’s own kitchen garden, the aesthetic was vibrant and luxe, and let us tell you - the weddings guests got the memo, style everywhere!

We talk a lot about our customisable menus, and we’re obsessed with our clients being able to incorporate the things they love into their events, be it favourite flavours or even a take on a beloved family dish.

So when Beth told us she wished she could have two pasta options for the entree, we couldn’t say ‘would you like pecorino with that?’ fast enough!

In keeping with the classic feel of the day, a fresh Aperol Spritz was complemented by a selection of wines and beers on the bar facilitated wild dancing into the night!
